Driving Records Background Check

It is important to check your applicant’s driving records when you are planning to have your employee drive on the job whether it is ‘on call’ for an occasional trip to the supply store, or on a regular daily basis.

It would be prudent to check the driving records even when you do not plan to have your employee drive on the job. This search should be included when performing a full background check. It may disclose crimes such as drunken-driving, drug use, or driving while under the influence etc. You need to find out about crimes such as these during your screening process. This knowledge will help to avoid potential problems down the road. These problems could influence a person’s trustworthiness, ability to perform their job, attendance at work etc.

We are able to provide driving record background checks for 48 states. The only states we cannot search due to the state regulations imposed are PA and WA.

We protect the privacy of others as required in the Federal Drivers DPPA (Drivers Protection Privacy Act) 1994 Title 18 section 2721 and will not disclose personal information about your applicant such as their address etc from the motor vehicles records.
